Services & Pricing

Matchday coverage, team portraits, tournaments, aerial work and commissioned projects — with the price, the turnaround and the licence stated up front.

Five services, priced honestly. Every quote states what is included, how many edited images you receive, when they arrive and exactly what you are licensed to do with them. Nothing is hidden in small print, because small print is how clubs end up disappointed.

Service 01

Matchday Sports Photography

Full coverage of a single fixture — ice hockey, football, rugby, tennis or athletics — shot pitch-side and edited the same night.

I arrive an hour before the warm-up, shoot the build-up, the full match and the reaction at the whistle, then cull and grade the set overnight. Clubs get a gallery they can post before the next training session, while the result still matters to people.

  • Up to 90 minutes of play plus warm-up and post-match
  • Two bodies, fast primes and a 70–200mm — no missed second half to a lens change
  • 60–120 fully edited frames, colour-graded and captioned
  • Web-sized and print-sized files in one delivery
  • Delivered within 24 hours of the final whistle
Typical priceFrom £180 per fixture

Club & Team Portraits photography by Thomas Brown
Service 02

Club & Team Portraits

Squad photos, individual player headshots and coaching-staff portraits, shot on location at your ground in a single session.

A whole squad can be photographed in under two hours without anybody standing around in the cold. I bring portable lighting so the results are consistent whether we are in a clubhouse corridor or on a floodlit pitch in November.

  • Full squad group shot plus individual headshots
  • Consistent lighting and framing across the whole roster
  • Cut-out versions on transparent backgrounds for programmes and graphics
  • Sponsor boards and kit branding handled cleanly
  • Naming convention agreed in advance so files drop straight into your system
Typical priceFrom £250 per session

Event & Tournament Coverage photography by Thomas Brown
Service 03

Event & Tournament Coverage

Multi-day tournaments, presentation evenings, charity fixtures and club anniversaries — documented end to end.

Tournaments are not just the sport. They are the registration desk, the parents on the touchline, the medal table and the tired walk to the car park. I shoot the whole arc so you finish the weekend with a story rather than a folder of action frames.

  • Full-day or multi-day coverage, agreed in blocks
  • Action, presentations, candids and venue detail
  • Optional same-day selects pushed out for live social posting
  • Sponsor and partner activations covered on request
  • Organised into per-day, per-pitch or per-team folders
Typical priceFrom £320 per day

Drone & Aerial Photography photography by Thomas Brown
Service 04

Drone & Aerial Photography

Aerial stills and top-down views of grounds, facilities, courses and landscapes, flown legally and planned around the airspace.

Aerial work sells a venue in a way ground-level photography cannot. I check airspace and site permissions before the shoot, brief you on what is and is not possible at that location, and fly only when the conditions and the rules allow.

  • Airspace, NOTAM and landowner checks completed before the booking is confirmed
  • Ground-level establishing shots included alongside the aerials
  • Top-down and oblique compositions of pitches, courses and facilities
  • RAW-quality stills, colour matched to the rest of your set
  • Weather contingency date included as standard
Typical priceFrom £220 per flight session

Commissioned & Brand Work photography by Thomas Brown
Service 05

Commissioned & Brand Work

Editorial features, brand campaigns, product-in-use imagery and documentary projects for clubs, sponsors and local businesses.

This is the work that starts with a conversation rather than a fixture list. Kit manufacturers, physiotherapy clinics, gyms, local press and club sponsors all need images that look like their world rather than a stock library. We agree the brief, the shot list and the usage before anybody picks up a camera.

  • Pre-production call, mood board and agreed shot list
  • Location scouting and permissions handled
  • Editorial, portrait and product-in-use frames in one session
  • Licence terms written into the quote — no surprises later
  • Retouching to an agreed standard, with revisions built in
Typical priceQuoted per project
Time on siteHalf day upwards

How it works

Four steps, no surprises

Enquiry

You send the date, the venue and roughly what you need the pictures for. If I am free, you get a written quote within 24 hours.

Plan

We agree the shot list, the licence and the delivery date before anything is confirmed. For drone work, airspace and permissions get checked at this stage.

Shoot

I arrive early, introduce myself to whoever is running the day, and work to the plan — while staying alert to whatever the day actually gives us.

Deliver

Culled, edited, captioned and uploaded to TransferNow with a link that stays live for 356 days. No watermarks, ready to publish.

Questions

Everything clients ask before booking

I am based in Newport, Shropshire and cover Shropshire, Staffordshire, the West Midlands and North Wales without a travel charge. Anywhere beyond roughly 45 miles, I add mileage at 45p per mile and tell you the figure before you confirm. Please do not confuse Newport, Shropshire with Newport in Wales — it is a two-hour difference.

Not sure which one you need?

Tell me what is happening, when and where. If one of these five is not the right fit I will say so, and point you at whoever is.
